11 months! Lucas is
still wearing 12 month clothes, but it won’t be too much longer before he moves
onto a bigger size. He learned so much
in the last month including how to chew ‘real’ food, how to walk behind a push
toy, more balance at standing without holding onto anything, how to ‘wave’ and
we are pretty sure he can say “Duck” (although it sounds more like Duh…ck, with
a very long pause in between the sounds).
He loves saying Mama when Daddy is holding him and Daddy when Mama is
holding him. He’s crawling like crazy
now and doesn’t understand why we keep standing him up to “walk”. He has moved onto the big boy car seat and is
now in size 4 diapers. His favorite game
is “gonna get ya”, when Mama tries to chase him while he is on the couch. He does his best to escape, but Mama usually
wins. He just squeals in delight. He is so stinking happy J

After much practice, Lucas can finally “wave” hello. Andy by ‘wave’, we mean he holds his hand straight
out in a salute. We are trying to teach
him to open and close his hand and so far, he’s just not having it.

Today Lucas got to visit with all his aunts, uncles,
grandparents and cousins on Mama’s side of the family.

Today was Lucas’s first Trick-or-Treat and he dressed up
like Pablo from the Backyardigans. He
was the cutest little penguin ever! We
went across the street to see Miss Lori and then up to Uncle Justin’s. After Lucas filled his candy bucket, we cam
home and hung out with the Gorman’s.
Lucas had fun playing with Jadyn and Johnny.

At 10 months old, Lucas is growing like crazy! He's wearing 12 month clothes and eating 'big boy' food. He loves the Gerber puffs and is getting better at picking them up to put them in his mouth, although, he still prefers that someone else do it for him. He loves to make noise by screaching, laughing and banging on things. He can stand on his own and will walk along furniture. He loves the swings and slide at the park and of course, going for walks.
