We spent the day at Brady's Run Park. Lucas enjoyed walking thru the woods, trying to eat all the plants, and learning about all the trees. It was good day :)

Happy Birthday Daddy! For your birthday, I'm going to give you a heart attack by flipping out of the swing!

Lucas is 7 months old today! He is getting SO big! He can sit up (mostly!) on his own and loves to play with his toys. His favorite is his nursery rhyme book that lights up and sings. Of course he still loves to snuggle with a blankie and stuffed animal while he sleeps. He is doing really well on baby food and rice (while sitting in his BIG BOY high chair), but will attack a bottle if you put it anywhere near him. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth, but has yet to crawl. He can scoot backwards, but not forwards. We aren’t worried. He will soon figure out how to get those legs and arms moving in the same direction. He still loves peek-a-boo and any other game you want to play. His Daddy is still his best friend and his Mama is still his favorite girl. This month we reached the one million Mama kisses milestone… now we’re going for two million!

Today was Lucas’s first 4^th of July. We set up his baby pool and he loved flipping and flopping in the water. Then we met Uncle Vinnie and Aunt Stacey at Moon Park to watch the fireworks. He LOVED them! He wasn’t scared at all and just kind of watched in all. Today he also tried ice cream for the first time & to everyone’s amusement, Daddy kept sneaking him more when Mama wasn’t looking.
