Lucas is soooo excited to start his new daycare (Alphabet Express).... let's hope Mama is just as happy!

Our'lil' guy is getting SO BIG! At 9 months old, he weighs in at 21 lb 4 oz (65% for his age) and 30" tall (95%!!). He reached a few milestones this month including a second tooth and his first word, Mama (which is more like MomMomMomMomMom)! He's crawling like a maniac, babbling like a fool and eating like a champ! We are so proud of him and fall in love with him more and more every day :)

We went camping for Labor Day weekend at Lock 30 Woodlands with Justin, Trella, Don, Carrie, Lurch, Sandy, Dave, Madison and Logan. We spent the weekend walking around the campground, checking out the lake, playing in the dirt and munchin’ on yummy food cooked over an open fire.

Today we got to see baby Parker again. Then we picked up Nana and hung out at Gram and Pa Liotta's for the afternoon. They were suprised at how big Lucas got and how he loved to crawl around.

Happy Birthday Mama!! Today we went to Sandcastle with Aunt Sammi and Caity. Even tho the lazy river was closed, we still had a good day hanging by the pool and taking a nice long snuggle nap. The Lucas decided that he wanted pretzels and was going to pull himself up on to the chair to get them!!

Happy 8 months Lucas! He has grown so much in the last month and has learned so many new things! He is still eating like a champ and is getting so big. He’s just about outgrown the 6 months clothes and is now fitting in 9 month stuff. He still loves to snuggle with a blankie when he sleeps, thumb in mouth and of course, snoring just like daddy. He loves to make noise and bang his toys on his high chair, bang on the wall or babble away telling us stories. His favorite toys are his teethers and soft blocks. We try to read him a story every night at bedtime and he loves his Backyardigan books.
