Lucas is finally happy to have Tummy Time. Usually he screams like a crazy person, but we learned that if we put his arms closer together, he can actually push up and hold himself up! He's getting sooo big!

Today Mama went thru all his clothes and packed away his newborn/0-3 month stuff and dug out all his 3-6 month outfits. Thanks to cousin Johnny, he's got alot of hand-me-downs to wear. (Not gonna lie, I teared up just a little when packing away all those 'little' clothes that just don't fit him anymore!)

Happy Mama's Day! I was so excited to celebrate my 1st ever Mother's Day! Andy and Lucas took me out for a fancy brunch. We were supposed to go to the park, but got rained out. Instead we did a little shopping. But the best part was the snuggle nap topped off with extra Mama kisses!

The poor little guy is just pooped from a whole day of shopping with his Mama. We bought new shoes for Mama and a cute new outfit for Lucas :)

We have started feeding Lucas 'solid' food. Does he like sweet potatoes? Um.. not so much.

Today Lucas is 5 months!! Weighing in at 14 lb 10 oz and 25 3/4" long, he is growing like a maniac! His favorite toys are his Nuby teething ring and his elephant blankie. He loves to laugh and his favorite songs are The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Patty Cake. He can almost get his foot all the way up to his mouth to munch on his toes, but til he can, his fingers work just fine. He loves to go for walks and enjoys his snuggle naps on weekends. Daddy is still his best friend and Mama is still his favorite girl.
